Full-Time Systems and Network Engineer – Level 2/3 

As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Full-Time Systems and Network Engineer  to complement our existing team in Salisbury.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you possess the ability to complete the following duties.

  • Microsoft & Office 365 deployment, configuration and support
  • Network, Cloud  and Server configuration and troubleshooting
  • Level 2 & 3 Help desk support for server, network, cloud  and desktop related issues
  • Capacity planning, installation, configuration of Windows Server and Network Solutions
  • Project engineering during installations
  • System documentation and maintenance
  • Remote monitoring of systems at network and systems levels
Full-Time Service Desk Engineer – Level 1/2

Being part of a growing team of L1 and L2 service desk engineers, you will provide end user support to our clients. You will work with our customers on the phone and connect remotely to their machines to assist with IT issues. You will log tickets in our systems and escalate to our Tier 2 teams if needed. The work you will do will vary, as we have many clients with many different systems, but the majority of your work will be around end-user issues such as email, printing, communication and user configuration.

 

What you need to bring

 

A successful candidate will bring a year of experience in a similar environment, supporting end users in a remote setting. However, a keenness to learn, friendly but professional communication manner and an excellent attitude are equally important. You’ll work in a Service Desk Team of 8 other service desk engineers and enjoy a great culture and career path with our growing business of 35 staff.

 

Essential requirements:

 

  • The applicant must hold a current and valid Australian or State Issued Driver’s License
  • The applicant must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident

The position is based in Salisbury, Brisbane and some interstate travel may be required. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

Senior Systems and Network Engineer/Technical Consultant

The Technical Consultant is a Senior Systems and Network Engineer who is part of a growing and dedicated team of senior IT Professionals responsible for the analysis, design, delivery, management and support of client IT systems, with a strong focus on security and cloud solutions. The consultancy part of the role requires you to build a relationship with our clients in order to help them use the latest technology to accomplish their business goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Senior level technical service delivery.
  • Escalated support on client server and network infrastructure.
  • Major incident management coordination.
  • Manage client onboarding projects.
  • Assist in specialist professional services (project) delivery.
  • Client engagement at consultancy level.
  • R&D of technical design architecture, implementation and deployment
  • Coordination of technical activities with internal and client stakeholders
  • Documentation of technical framework and implemented solutions
  • Coordination with third party vendors and solution providers
  • Development of training and technical handover to internal support teams

 

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will bring wide all-round experience in Microsoft Server systems, Azure cloud solutions and contemporary security standards. Typically, 7-10 years of experience in ICT is expected, with specific MSP exposure an advantage. Extensive knowledge of Office 365, Virtualization and networking solutions such as Cisco and Barracuda is required.

Industry certification and personal development is very important to us. Microsoft 365 and Azure competencies will be essential to your success.
